Carmel Mountain Interpretive Panels Unveiling and Trail Celebration

On May 7, 2006 at 10 am at Carmel Mountain Preserve, a City of San Diego Open Space park, Council President Scott Peters will unveil three interpretive panels created by environmental artist Ruth Wallen. This ceremony will also celebrate the preservation of Carmel Mountain's many rare and sensitive plants with the implementing a strategic trail plan in accord with the Carmel Mountain Preserve Resource Management Plan. A guided trail hike will follow the unveiling.
